The Deal Gateway ushered in the spring weather with another successful event at the Birmingham Community House on April 23, 2008. This time, the "Accidental Entrepreneur" Richard Sheridan, President of Menlo Innovations in Ann Arbor, MI gave a very interesting and humorous talk about his passion, Menlo Innovations. As before, the event was attended by a wide variety of business people, from entrepreneurs to financiers to brokers to accountants and lawyers. Attached are photographs from the event.
The first Deal Gateway breakfast presentation took place Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at 8:00 a.m. at the law offices of Hertz Schram PC. Larry Gormezano, the Manager of the Southeast Michigan office of the Michigan Economic Development Corporation spoke about the state of Michigan’s economy and discussed why Michigan remains a great place to do business. Mr. Gormezano also discussed the services and resources that the MEDC can provide to local businesses of all types and sizes. The meeting was attended by a variety of local business people including lenders, real estate developers, and entrepreneurs. Attached are the handouts from Mr. Gormezano’s presentation.
